I’m a 40(ish) Jewish mom who lives in California (in the San Francisco Bay Area).  I have a beautiful, active 11-year-old son.  I work as an HRIS Manager for a large company in San Francisco.

I grew up in the Washington, DC, area.  I spent three years in Germany in the 80s, serving in the US Army.  I spent three years living in north Florida and I moved to California in 1998.  I’ve been here since, mainly in the Bay Area but with a three-year (hmm, a theme) stint in Los Angeles.

My interests are wide and varied — politics, music, Broadway musicals, Manchester United Football Club, reading (novels and biographies) and movies, to name a few.  I’ve been something of a political junkie ever since arguing with my father about politics when I was a child.

So welcome to my little corner of the Internet. It will hold my musings on whatever comes to mind — mostly politics, gay marriage and gay rights,  Northern California, and whatever else strikes my fancy. I hope you’ll read what’s here. Please comment!
Unfortunately, I don’t have a regular posting schedule at the moment.  I hope to be able to stick to a once a week schedule (or more) in the near future.  So I hope you’ll subscribe via email so you stay up to date!
