Tim Russert died suddenly this afternoon. His passing will leave a huge vacuum in political coverage. Political journalism was better for him. I didn’t watch Meet the Press much (hard to watch Sunday morning TV with a 2 year old in the house), but I watched him every night there was election returns. He’ll be missed. My thoughts are with his family.
