Deanna — I could not agree more NO ONE’s rights should depend on the popular vote but that’s the way America is and has been from day one so we have to work around it.

I am a supporter of gay rights and I have registered on more than one website and have even donated money to gay rights organization and believed that I would get emails or correspondence via mail every once in a while and I have not received any communication from these organizations since November 2008. That’s RIDICULOUS!!!

I know these organizations are getting donations regularly especially from the community — what are they doing with that money.

The people don't know what they want, anyway; just look at California's referendum system. What a mess that is. But the real point is this: If you put the people in charge of making decisions about people's rights, those people being judged will almost always lose. The will of the people, as it applies to others' rights, is a sham, an excuse to keep another group down. Exactly, Alan. I hate popular referendums. I don't think the writers of the constitution ever meant for any laws to be voted upon by the general public. The HRC and the other "professional gays" are ineffective at best, negligent at worst. There definitely is a problem with the strategy, I don't know what it is, though.
